hi all,

i'd like to try some asp samples from the download section - i registered the activeX library.

the problem - when trying to run a script which uses it the whole IIS gets locked up.
i'm hearing the error-sound but no error is displayed and IIS doesnt react anymore.

anyone knows how to fix this?

If your using IIS6 & Windows 2003 the Active-X component does not work under the default IIS permissions. If you use HTTP-Authentication and log in as your server ADMIN it will work because this super-user account has full privileges.  I have not had any success in getting the component to work under IIS 6.

thanks - i tried it and it worked first.
but: after a while the iis crashed - i had to restart it

anyone experienced similar problems? or does it work without problems?
