I am having multiple instances of messages addressed to one or more users of my Mail Server .NET (v1.0.5.8) on WinXP Pro from external sources being delivered to the primary addressed recipient(s) and then followed up with a copy of the message being delivered to random other users in the same domain.
This problem began occurring after I updated last week to v1.0.5.8 when I severely traumatized the system during update, but then corrected the system and restored the data. I have surveyed the forum and found nothing like it in recent history.
I just finished running the server maintenance utilities to shrink, delete, cleanup, and apply structural changes hoping this will fix the problem. I'm guessing that there may be a crosslinking in user reference record numbers that simulates the alias option, therefore, hoping that fixing and cleaning up the data will repair.
Has anyone had this problem and know of a sure fix?
