Over the last two days you may have noticed that the site was down. This is because yet again a replacement Seagate Hard Drive failed. If you have been following this saga, back in January I replaced all hard drives with Seagate 500GB drives for more storage. In April each of the new drives systematically failed. Even some of the replacements they sent failed. I thought I was safe, but then my Desktop computer hard drive failed. This time, fed up with Seagate, I purchased 3 new Hitachi 1 TB hard drives. I was waiting to schedule some time to perform the move but as fate would have it the database sever failed. With the use of EaseUs Disk Copy, BartPE and GParted, I was able to clone the drives and resize the partitions to make use of the added capacity. We are now back in business.
