for a long time i've had the problem of mystical high cpu usage on the mailserver, i think the last update fixed it but since then there's a new even worse problem:
after a certain period, the mailserver simply stops serving. in that state, it seems to run properly but when it should receiving mails it just doesn't react/answer.
only SOMETIMES the sender gets an error- after at least 1 day (!!!) and maximum was several days :(
i guess in most cases the mail simply get lost ..
here's an error some user sent me:
: lost connection with
mail.????.com[xx.xxx.xxx.xx]
while receiving the initial server greeting
as i said, the server seems to work but it's simply not reacting to anything .. i need to terminate the process and rerun it and anything is working again.
how could this problem be fixed? this is imo a very serious problem ..
