In ArGo (i'm not sure if the freeware version has all the feature I am going to mention), you need to do the following:
In the ArGo Server Tools Menu, Server Option, you need to set the local host to a FQDN ( FQDN=Fully Qualified Domain Name, such as yourdomainname.com).
You also need a reverse DNS lookup for that domain name. This would be done by whom ever manages your DNS servers, such as your ISP. You can use DNS Report (http://www.dnsreport.com/) to test your DNS setup and see what errors pop up. From my exprience, as long as there is a reverse lookup, the other mail server will allow the messages to go through.
A lot of site also now require SPF records. This is something that is part of your DNS setup. There is a link in the links library for a SPF wizard and related info.
