Perhaps I have not explained well in my previous message.

My version Argosoft Mail Server Pro, and come noting that all qualified as spam messages that come into my system and are rejected, there is no record of them. It may be that some of them were not spam. It would be possible derivarlos to an account 'x', for example called spam, in order to revise them later?.

Thanks

Ferran

Ferran,

If you use the Anti-Spam features built into ArGo Mail server, the messages will be rejected if it meets the specified criteria (i.e. DNSBL). If you want more control then you neeed to use a server extension, such as Mail Filter, or you can use eWall as a front end which will provide more handling and filtering capabilities.

Thanks for the answer!. From the signing to me because I come advises using the Paranoid. This program is conducted at the end of all controls that makes ArgoSoft. I configured with a list of very large messages "good" and "bad" and works very well. Moreover, if this creates a copy of spam messages in a folder called "spam".

There would be some way of ensuring that run before that controls antiespam making Argosoft?.

Ferran,

If you are using just Paranoid via ArGo (Anti Spam -> "Paranoid" Spam Detector), then you can only set the percentage in which to reject mail. With eWall or Mail Filter you can better control what happens with a message that meets the criteria. For example, if a message is greater than 50% spam probability, then add to Subject "SPAM:" and allow it to be delivered. Both Mail Filter and eWall have can use Paranoid.

This weekend I bought the licence eWall. Yesterday I was doing tests of time and I still have Argosoft Mail Server Pro as the main product. I thought that the installation of eWall was a double layer of protection software that worked together to Argosoft, but I realize that this is not the case. We must reconfigure filters Argosoft, eliminate the majority and leave it eWall who controls the incoming and outgoing mail. I have to do more tests. The entire installation in another machine, to see if it convinces me the whole issue.

Ferran,
eWall is a front end (proxy) to ArGosoft Mail Server. In my set up I let eWall do all the filtering and let ArGo handle the mail delivery portion of the task. Also If you have eWall & ArGo installed on the same machine, install the eWall LSP add-on. This add-on will provide Argo with the orginal senders IP address, if not, ArGo will only see the IP address of where eWall is installed.

Thanks for the info!

What proved, I think that is what I needed because I realized that eWall spent 127.0.0.1 to Argosoft and I liked the subject, and to oblige me to disconnect all the security measures mail server.

With EWLSP, and according to your commented, the issue can be settled. Retrying.

One question, with the installation of EWLSP, we must not touch anything in Argosoft, except the amendment to the port from 25 to 2525. The rest of configuration is valid in its entirety?.

Ferran,

I don't fully understand your question. In short, set eWall to listen on port 25 set the MTA to connect to another port like 2525. Then set Argo to listen on port 2525.

Sorry, my English is very bad.

My question:

If installed eWall + + eWall LSP Argosoft:
The single configuration that will change in Argosoft port?, The rest of configurations antispam no need to touch them, because we have installed the software transparent eWall LSP. So?

Yes. Just change the ArGo Port. When eWall receives a message on port 25 it's transport will connect to ArGon on the alternate port you set (for example port 2525). The LSP will allow ArGo to see the originating IP addresses. You can also use the anti-spam features of ArGo, but my personal preference is to let eWall handle that.

Thanks!.

These next few days I have 4 holiday, I shall devote to making the installation of the two programs eWall, and have it working on tests for a few days.

If there is a problem and we will be in touch.

Again, thank you for everything, from Barcelona.

Good morning,

I installed the eWall SPL and the theme of connection with Argosoft has been solved.

The problem is that I restarted the computer and to restart has become has become desynchronized.
EWall <-> eWall SPL <-> Argosoft

He conducted a test:

From a foreign account (GMAIL), I sent an e-mail accounts at two local Argosoft. The first of these has happened correct IP Argosoft to Gmail, but the second e-mail has become Argosoft the local IP 192.168.xx.xx.

He restored the services of Argosoft i eWall, and it seems that everything is back to normal.

My question.

There any way to configure the service Argosoft to start when the two eWalls are fully uprooted. Or tell eWall SPL not synchronize until eWall and services with Argosoft are uprooted?

He conducted more tests. The problem is not in sync.

With all services uprooted correctly:

I sent an email from an account at GMAIL to 5 distinatarios my server Argosoft.

Of the 5 directions, came with 2 IP GMAIL and 3 as local IP.

I repeat the shipment, and now have been correct, 3 and 2 of misleading and are not always the same,

The LSP does not work properly in all cases.

You know who has it may be due?
