We have multiple clients who are in different time zones than the ArgoSoft mail server. The problem is that the time stamp is incorrect on received messages in their email clients (Outlook and Outlook Express mostly). After doing some research, it looks to me like it's being caused by the ArgoSoft server putting the time stamp in the header without the UTC offset. From what I can tell, the client then either treats the time as local time or GMT. According to RFC 2822, I think the UTC offset is required. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue, and/or has a fix for it. I've got quite a few clients breathing down my neck.

Dan,
What version of Mail Server are you using? I have checked the actual headers of messages that I have received from both the .NET version and the Win32 version, and both have the correct UTC offset.
If you want to test, send me a message steveT at this domain and I will tell you what I get.

- Mailbags now have an option to accept mail only when specified server is down - will help to fight
with spam which attempt to deliver mail bypassing the main server;
- When delivering mail, if main exchanger returns 4xx reply (temporary problem), the server will not
try other exchangers, will retry later the main exchanger;
- Server options moved from registry to a XML file. 64 bit versions of Vista and 2008 server appear
to be having access rights problems to the Windows registry, and the change will make our server more
compatible with 64 bit versions;
- Added an option to specify the number of lines on the log screen, when using the user interface.
Was causing memory problems if left running for long time;
- Fixed couple of problems, which were showing when SQL server was set up to use
case sensitive SQL statements;
- Made changes in the remoting interface to allow logging in using aliases;
