I believe the Reverse PTR has to only exists, it does not have to match the domain name. For example, ArGoStuff and several other sites I host all use the same IP but the reverse PTR record does not have any of my domain names in it. At least that has been my experience.
You can see if you have a reverse PTR record by using NSLOOKUP and your IP address. The bold red below is my IP address. The bold blue is my reverse PTR record.
